Description

In an age where retail is struggling to be the footfall generator it once was. In an age where proud cities that were once global leaders of industry have suffered from de-industrialisation, where unchecked urban sprawl has weakened the social and economic fabric of our urban cores, how do we retain some semblance of civic pride?

In the 21st Century, more than ever, we need to help our communities connect with the soul of their city. We need to find creative ways to tell the stories that enhance civic pride, that highlight proud historical legacies and give communities confidence in a prosperous future.

Hosted in the city of Leeds, this event will take an innovative exploration into city growth through culture. This event takes place during Purple Flag Month in Leeds Light Night – giving delegates the chance to enjoy an unbelievable study tour and see Leeds in a very different setting.

The stage is set.
